[Tuesday's Devotional] - For All Ages

For All Ages Messy Church is for adults and children to enjoy together – we try to make every element relevant and accessible to all ages – it is not "children's work" that children are dropped off at, or where parents hang around watching their children have fun, but it is intended to engage and nurture the full range of people that come. As well as the young families with primary school aged children that you would expect, our Messy Church delights in having several grandparents and lots of teenagers, many of whom have been coming for years and have grown up with Messy Church. It is great to see them enjoying activities that some people would consider too childish for them, like playing with paint, dressing up and acting in a play, or joining in with actions to a song. Those who help at Messy Church range in age from 15 to 80+, which means our families see that Jesus is active in the lives of people of all different ages.   To think and pray about: How do we make sure all ages feel at home in our church?
