[Friday's Devotional] - Good news

Good news There are tonnes of untold stories in Israel.  For example, it is believed when Mary was breastfeeding baby Jesus one day, her milk spilt onto the ground and a miracle happened.  The ground turned "white".  To this day the rocks and soil in that place are "white".   For now, I will leave you with the picture below. This is where Angels announced to the shepherds the Good News that Jesus the Messiah had been born in Bethlehem. (Luke 2:1-20)     I came back from the Holy Land a new person.  My revelation of the scriptures and love for Jesus has gone deeper and when I open a bible chapter, I can confidently say, "Yes, I was there!"   Although I am writing like a "poor" journalist or tourist travel agent, my group was well focused on the holiness of the places we visited and the need to have conversations with Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Father.     Farai Mutsambiwa      Twitter Website Copyright © 2016 St. Matthew & St. Oswald's Church, All rights reserved.
